It's a small but meaty thin-skinned bean that will take on all the flavors you can throw at it but still hold its shape. Great as a substitute for Cannellini or Great Northern beans but unique in its own right. Great grower with a great flavor. Light: Full Height: 18 inch to 24 inch Width: Varied Spacing: 6 inch to 8 inch Needs Pollinator: No Planting Season: Spring/Late Spring-Early Summer Days to Maturity: 85 Needs Isolation: No Start Indoors: Not needed, may be started indoors early in the season, before the last frost. Wide double rows (two parallel rows of beans planted 12 to 14 inches apart) are the most space-efficient way to grow beans; you may incorporate an arbor/arch/latticework if you desire.
